9/11 and the slaughter of the doctor's family in Connecticut pretty much drove a stake through the heart of "just cooperate and you'll be ok".

It doesn't matter if you're carrying a Cross pen or a BAR, if you aren't willing to USE it in defense of yourself or others, it's irrelevant.

The point is that people are finally catching on to the inherent BS of "If you can't trust in the good judgment and basic human decency of an armed robber, what CAN you trust in?"

I too thought the signs in WI carried weight, but the news article did say no charges are expected to be filed...

That doesn't mean they don't have force of law. Whatever the law may say, the local prosecutor still has the leeway whether to prosecute or not.

Don't hold your breath. That's a corporate policy for all their stores in every state they do business where the law allows them to ban firearms. Aldi is very anti-gun.
