Dying doesn't wipe the slate clean. It doesn't erase his behavior in life which, apparently, was reprehensible.

Please don't let the response on this thread upset you. Yes, it is impolite to speak ill of the dead. Understand that this "gallows humor" is a way to let off steam. Most people here pack a weapon. They do so to protect themselves from people like this man. Don't expect a lot of sympathy for someone like him. I am personally glad to see him gone. Behind bars is good but a pine box is permanent and less costly. His loss means one person I will not have to worry about shooting. I don't like the thought of pulling the trigger on someone and I don't appreciate that people like this are the reason I feel a need to carry.

There are certain threads that I find crude, or rude, or even stupid. There are many excellent threads I move to one of the latter.

Now let's not pass judgement. He must have been a victim of circumstance or perhaps a bad upbringing. Either way, it is now 2012 and people are not accountable or responsible for their actions. We MUST find a reason why they aren't to blame and pass LAWS to fix it.

I never said it did and I’m not asking for sympathy for him (maybe his family but not him). I am quite sure that his death grew out of his decisions in his life and that his ending probably wasn’t a surprise to anyone that knew him. (FWIW the number one killer of young black males is …. other young black males).

What I am saying is that all this gloating over the fact that he’s dead is disgusting. It’s not any different than a Marine pissing on the corpse of a Taliban Jihadi.
