Training? You mean training that I took or training that I gave. hmmmmmmm lets see. I am a veteran US MARINE PMI,PPSU Instructor, NRA Training Counselor, NRA Instructor certified to teach in Basic Pistol, Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun, Home Firearm Safety, Personal Protection in the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home and the Instructor course for each of those. NRA Chief Range Safety Officer. I teach assorted non-NRA Classes in Self defense. I own a reputable gun school in South Florida that has been in business over 24 yrs.We have trained over 30,000 students. I am a state approved CCW Instructor and a Florida Fish and Wildlife Hunter Safety Instructor.

    Does any of that count?

    Thanks for you service!!

Sure does count….. especially when this regime considers you a threat and some day you mysteriously disappear.

Changing the subject matter here...Sorry but I'm going to hijack this useless thread the OP posted....

I wanted to take a minute to thank our Military Members for their service. In my mind, you guys have earned the right to free speech more than others.

We are fortunate you have fought to allow us to have that freedom along with the other freedom's you have shed blood for.

Even if I disagree with you, I will always be indebted to you and will defend you!

Again "THANK YOU" and may God Bless You and Your Family!

If you can't afford to attend a class and right now there aren't many that can and that's me included, you should be watching Youtube videos on weapons and self defense tactics. See if you can track down some of Massad Ayoob's works as I believe they should be required reading for anyone that carries a gun for self defense.

There are a lot of ways to obtain free videos online but I won't help anyone brake the law.

Factors for using Lethal force at least in the state of Arizona.

    1. Trying to protect yourself or another person from death or serious bodily harm.
    2. Trying to prevent a forcible felony, such as rape, robbery, burglary or kidnapping.
    3. Trying to stop someone from committing arson to an occupied structure.
    4. Anyone that intrudes into your house or home. Castle Doctrine.
    5. Whenever there is a disparity of force against you. For Example, you are a little guy and three huge professional body builders come at you and tell you that they are going to kill you with their bare hands. That is disparity of force. A woman can kill any man because of disparity of force but she has to prove that he was going to kill her or cause grave bodily injury.
    6. When you are being car jacked. You do not have to retreat from your car. (Castle Doctrine)
You have to demonstrate that you or another was in immediate and grave danger of being killed or receiving grave bodily injuries and the attacker, aka BG for Bad Guy, had the means to carry out his threats and that you believed that if you didn't act immediately with lethal force, you and/or others would have been killed or seriously injured. That you had no other choice, there were no other options. That you did what any reasonable prudent person would have done in the same situation.
Sorry - No, I was not quoting Col. Cooper. It was truly a Louis L'Amour quote... I just can't remember the dang book. It is irrelevant anyways.... I still hit what I am at, be it close or far. Well, at least as far as I can see. ;-)

I recently got to train with Mas at his MAG-40 class. Full week, split between classroom & range. Can not imagine a better instructor or curriculum.

    Good point on "required training"

I could tell you all about my training; in great detail. Then I would be forced to kill you.

Does call of Duty on the PC count? What about my training certificate I won on Ebay, does that count,LOL. J/K.

To say someone has not had training unless it meets your standards,if nuts and rude. Not everyone is made of money and can afford the above training.
