Default Silencer made from stuff at Lowe's

I just finished making a silencer for my Sig Mosquito and the damn thing works like a charm, especially with subsonic ammo.

I have Glock I tricked out with a silencer years ago and I disected it with a band saw. I just got a new barrel for my XDm .40 and was going to get another silencer to fit it because the threads are different than the one on my Glock. (I screwed the silencer up when I tried to put it on my XDM, thats why I disected it)

Anyway, I saw how this thing was made and figured I would try making it myself. So I went shopping at Lowes and spent less than $20. bucks on a brass fitting and tube, and some PVC and 0-steel wool. It is a little bulkier than my old one but weighs less. I have put about 150 rounds through it so far and am just tickled to death how nice it works.I can't believe how easy it was. I will make a newer improved model for my .40

Anyone else done this and do you have any tips if you do? Especially on material and how to make it thinner. Thanks
We ALL shall see the Lord one day .... please don't make me set up the meeting.

Be very careful about posting this kind of stuff online. It could be in violation of local and Federal laws.

    Default Bad juju!

You can make your own silencer BUT only after getting you $200 stamp back from BATFE and really big fires.

DO NOT EVEN THINK about doing this.

I love silencers and wish everyone had access to them, but pay up and do it legally!

Assuming suppressors are legal in your state...What are the laws about making your own suppressors? Still need a tax stamp?
God gets blamed for a lot of things now days, they ask “why would He let this happen?, Why doesn’t He stop it? I really don’t know, but I wonder if He wants to ask us the same questions. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing

I just looked at this guy's profile.

"USMC vet 16 yrs, Strategic operations and tactical advisor 11 yrs, demolitions specialist"

I don't see how somebody could be a demo specialist and not know that supressors are regulated by the BATFE.

I don't think rudie is a troll. He's posted quite a few times before.
