Homicide was #15, Motor Vehicle Accidents #6, maybe this guy and NBC should do an investigation into Automobiles?? If this guy and NBC were so concerned maybe after their first "buy", why didnt they notify the local authorities and have them arrested instead of letting them go on to sell and distribute again.
This reminds me of a paper I wrote in college about firearm safety and the low fatality rate. The professor would NOT accept the paper because of the firearm issue. So I re-wrote a paper on vehicle fatality rate, she ACCEPTED that paper. go figure.

I wouldn't have rewritten that paper. I would have said accept it or I'll go to the Dean or higher if I have to

I don't know what the laws are in other states, but in NC, the buyer must either 1) have a Concealed Carry permit, or 2) obtain a "Pistol Permit" from the sherrif in his county. It is illegal for anyone, including private citizens, to sell a handgun to anyone who doesn't have one or the other of those 2 documents.

A "Pistol Permit" only authorizes the holder to buy a handgun; it does not grant any authority to carry a concealed handgun. And the seller must collect the pistol permit from the buyer, as a seperate permit is required for each habdgun purchased.

Again, CC permit holders are exempt from the psitol permit requirement.

I wonder that myself. Are they also icky with hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, shovels, tire irons, golf clubs, knives, ball bats etc? My sister and niece came for a visit a few years ago and my niece was interested in shooting so I mentioned I could take her to a local indoor range and she could shoot mine and so my sister interjected and said her father should be the one to teach her and I said 1. Where is he? and 2. he doesn't own any and doesn't know the first thing about them so why should he be the one? I have several she could try and the experience to teach her the correct way. Damn did that piss me off. My sister unfortunately is one of those "guns are icky" people and mainly due to lack of understanding and the fascist media

That's one thing I don't miss about NC.
For those who fight for it, life has a flavor the protected will never know.
