Default obamacare and guns. a warning!!

So this is a copy of an email my mom just sent me. Thought I would share it with everyone.

I am passing this along with comments from two other people. I have
also been asked if we keep guns in the house. The nurse just slipped
it in along with all the other regular questions. I told her I refused
to answer because it was against the law to ask. Everyone, whether you
have guns or not, should give a neutral answer so they have no idea
    who does and who doesn't.

My doctor asked me if I had guns in my house, and also if any were
loaded. I, of course, answered yes to both questions. Then he asked
why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son, who
is a certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security,
advised me that an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against
criminal attack. The Government now requires these questions be asked
of people on Medicare, and probably everyone else.

I had to visit a doctor other than my regular doctor when my doctor
was on vacation. One of the questions on the form I had to fill out
was: Do you have any guns in your house? My answer was None of your
damn business! So it is out there.

It is either an insurance issue or government intervention. Either
way, it is out there and the second the government gets into your
medical records (as they want to under Obamacare) it will become a
major issue and will ultimately result in lock and load!

Please pass this on to all other retired guys and gun owners. Thanks

    >From a Vietnam Vet and retired Police Officer:

I had a doctors appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found
out something that I would like to pass along.

While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at
the end of the exam, three questions:

    1. Did I feel stressed?
    2. Did I feel threatened?
    3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?

The nurse then informed me that if I had answered yes to any of the
questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would
have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to
    Homeland Security.

Looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people like
retired law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after
the civilians, what argument will they have?

Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration has gone on
record as considering veterans and gun owners potential terrorists.
Whether you are a gun owner veteran or not, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !

If you know veterans and gun owners, please pass this on to them. Be
very cautious about what you say and to whom.

Next will come a recommended government diet. If you don't follow it you will be denied some medical treatments. Let's not forget smoking. If you smoke and end up with lung cancer or some other lung disorder, you may be denied some medical treatments. I'm sure they will be happy to offer doctor assisted suicide instead. Your treatment will be determined by a yet to be established panel of advisers that may or may not have any medical experience. Obama care at it's finest.

This has already been posted a few times and 99% of the people realized its a load of crap to make us paranoid. We all know if you are suicidal or mentally incompetent you cannot own a gun. Feeling stressed is something that EVERY NORMAL human experiences.

There was a just an article in the NRA rag that dispells that rumor and why. I believed it could happen and still do believe there is no reason it may not but at this point, the NRA says no.

You have to be vigilant but you have to believe someone, if not to just remain sane.

This is just one bad part of "O" care...they enter all your info into their electronic files, and it doesnt stop there. Your Pharmacy will also report ALL Meds you are prescribed. Dr,'s oath goes against everything in this shitty Law! While if you own a firearm illegally your probably fine...as far as "O"care goes.

Well, I can answer truthfully that I do not own any guns at all. Everyone lies one way or the other...

The V.A. part is an internet myth from 2009: Veterans can lose their weapons permit if they answer yes to three questions in a medical exam-Fiction!

The entire thing is an "urban legend" from 2011: Medical Records and Concealed Carry Info | UrbanLegendsOnline.com

It would be nice if people who are gullible would put as much effort into finding out the truth about these emails as they do spreading them around. Either that or they could start buying the really great Florida swamp land I have for sale or the bridge in Brooklyn I'm willing to trade for a lightly used AK-47!

In Florida the pediatric doctors were asking the children if guns were in the home.
This year there was a bill in congress to stop that.
    The AMA is very antigun.

I saw that when I was doing the research. This trend of asking children to young to comprehend the question is cowardly and dangerous. There is a thread in the forum regarding a true story in Canada where a 4 year old drew a picture of a gun. The nut job teacher called the nut job authorities then the father and mother were "detained" for nearly a day without being told what for and the children put in the child protection system. It turned out the kid told the teacher a fantasy story that she made up. Guilty until proven innocent is not the way to do things!
