Predator- Hunters Education Class Story

I have taught Hunters Education for the DGIF of Virginia for 15 yrs now.
Enjoy the story! I hope I posted it in the correct place. If not please move it for me.

I try to put personal touches to each subject I teach to keep it real for a lack of a better term. This one class we had about 25 students with one child about 8 yrs old. I normally don't let kids that young in but his dad wanted him to take it with him. This kid would raise his hand and answer about any question we asked. After the class and during the test he raised his hand. I walked over and he said I don't think we covered this in class? I was confused and said what we had missed? He said you didn't cover anything about PRE-DATERS in class! I couldn't help but grin. I said I think we did. He said I know you didn't have anything about PRE-Daters! I said what if I called them predators? His eyes lit up and said you did go over them and turned and marked the correct answer! That kid made 100% on the test. From that day forward every time I see "Predator", the movie on, I tell my wife PRE-Dater is on and we both smile! I love to bring another hunter and gun lover into our fold! If I can prevent one accident then all my volunteer days and hours will be more than worth it!
