While the milk jug water test is a pretty narrow range of comparative data, it IS a legitimate direct comparison between types of ammo you have interest in. I prefer to combine or add a wet newspaper test.
Human brains and muscle are about 75% water.
So if you are comparing bullets keep it all the same.
