I know everyone is going to say go to your local gun store and try out a few, Which is the best advice. I like my Ruger SP101 357 Hammerless. Very concealable and you can shoot 38s as well as 357. Good luck with your hunt!!!

A good revolver can be anything from a .22LR to a .44 magnum. What caliber are you looking for? How will you be carrying it (are you carrying it)? Will it be for target shooting? Will it be for personal defense?
We need a lot more info to give any sort of advice on a "good revolver".

If you are looking for a good all-around, easy to conceal, easy to carry light weight revolver, then I cannot recommend highly enough the Ruger LCR. You can get one in .38 Special +P or you can get one in .357 mag. They shoot great with the sweetest trigger press you can have; and they are durable, IMO. I have owned each for over a year and have not had one problem and I have run hundreds of rounds through them. For self defense, I would also recommend getting the Crimson Trace Lasergrips on it. You can get the grips with the LCR, or you can purchase the lasergrips later. Very easy to install.
