anyone been to FRONT SITE ?

Ive been wanting to go for a few years w the wife. Really wish the East Coast had such an Adult Playground like this.

Anyway, do you stay on site or how far are hotels, amenities etc.. ?

Any insite all the entire program would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

There are no lodgings onsite. The closest is Pahrumph, about 20 minutes away. They are all familiar with Font Sight customers. You could stay in Vegas but it's 45-55 minutes away.
There is a company that supplies ammo onsite or a truck at the turnoff of the main highway. The links they send when you register for a course are very helpful.

I took my wife to the 2day defensive handgun course first and she really liked it and insisted on doing the 4 day course next. After doing bith, she said she would have rather just done the 4 day. She now shoots USPSA local matches with me and really enjoys them...makes it much easier to buy gun stuff! ;-)

not yet but i'd love to make it out west and check it out some day
but that will take some time to save the $$$$$$ for a trip like that and i already blew way over my budget already at this time

What state are you in? I'm not sure about front sight but I know of a place in Camden tn that has numerous training courses and also offers mobile courses in cities on a training circuit. It is called tactical response.

I work with some guys who got there high risk civilian contractor training through them and they give them props. I know they offer beginner all the way to high expertise transition and executive protection courses.

y'all have fun up there and out west at front sight .
i'd love to visit out west also too see the grand canyons and the awesome natural places there someday

My daughter and I went in 2010 and took the intermediate pistol class. We stayed at the Best Western. Well worth the trip and cost. Nothing like 5 days of shooting and bonding with your daughter. Even a set in there ways person like me picked up quite allot of new and useful information.

I've checked them all out and would choose either of the two over Frontsight. NRA has recently developed an advanced pistol course. They accept training from Thunder Ranch or Gunsite. They DO NOT accept training from Frontsite.

Be careful who you train with. There are some facilities out there that are frequented by "mall ninjas" and will teach you very bad habits.

Im in the PEoples Rep of NJ, however am a Former active duty army MO SGT and now a Retired NJ Civilian Cop, w instructor creds, wife has been to NRA HG course and gors w me to my old pd's outdoor range .. Ive been thru Army SRT and PSD schools, S&W's gun fighters course but it looks like we wld have fun, my 22yo cld lesrn something though..
