Default California will lead the way.... For Gun Control

Since the gov't won't do anything three states are considering their own form of bans... Of course they are California who decided to let an illegal alien take the bar exam along their financial issues are prompting their cities to declare bankruptcy. Yup they lead the way right down the swirling toilet bowl. Then Illinois... Maybe the govenor should just try to figure out how to stop the murders in Obamas hometown with the laws he already has on the books. Last is New York. They really have nothing I would want to follow... New York City has turned into a prison. Persoal freedoms are being eroded with every swipe of the pen, but even prison isn't murder free even with the stringent rules.

They (California) will have a rude awakening when the government that so many of them depend on so much implodes financially and can't take care of them.
Seems like that is in the process of happening. I hope the Feds don't bail them out, either. Let California reap what they have sown.

I think probably a lot of people who live in California care. Just not the voting majority. Those people are probably extremely frustrated right now.

If you live there, you have my sympathy.

Those of you that shrug your shoulders at what California is doing will soon have your own rude awakening. Some say we (Californians) are standing by, letting the commies take over. YOU, too, are also standing by while the commies take over your country one state at a time. Will you also stand idle while your neighbors home is taken over?

We need to work together instead of looking the other way when we see injustice.

most of those big states are run by a single or a few big cities. Los Angeles/San Fran/Sacramento, Chicago, and NYC.

My advice, watch the big cities in your state, because it would seem they are the ones screwing the entire state over in places like California, Illinois, and new York.

I guarantee there are people in north east (truly in all parts of) California who absolutely despise the draconian laws. Same goes for those that live near bc1 being told what to do by a big city with an evil leader.

then i am in luck. we only have one really big city and memphis might as well be arkansas.

i know what you are saying tho. the urbanites want to push thier way of life on us all. problem with that is we the "people in fly over country" just won't have it. we are not as easy to control as we are not as dependent on services. we can actually take care of ourselves.

Look at any voting map. They all show the red and blue areas. Ever notice the big cities are most often blue and the rural areas are most often red. Unfortunately the socialists all flock to the cities were the freebies are easy to get. So the few cities dictate the states political government. The rural population that is self sufficient gets screwed.

As many here know, I was born and raised in CA, Redondo Beach to be exact. We left right after the fires from the Rodney King riots were extinguished, and I have never regretted leaving.

That said, anyone who thinks that CA will fall on its own, without taking the rest of the country with it, is being extremely Pollyanna-ish and short-sighted. CA by itself over the last 30 years has ranked between the 5th to the 9th largest economy in the world, making it more relevant to the global economy, and thus, the US economy, than Greece, Spain and other allied countries whose economies are likewise in a downward spiral. The current spate of municipal bankruptcies in CA should be seen as a harbinger of what's in store for the rest of us soon, not as an isolated individual occurrence unrelated to the fate of the rest of the country. You can point to the failure of socialistic policies there, and you'll be right, it's a good example of the inherent problems with socialism. But it doesn't matter. As CA goes, so goes the rest of the country, especially as it relates to her economy.

I personally don't think there's anything to be done about what's happening, or will ultimately happen, in CA. It is preordained, just as it is for the rest of the country, and the rest of the world. But I do pay close attention to what's going on there, because there is going to be a period of time between the onset of various forms of Tribulations and when our Father calls us Home, and if CA is going to be the first shoe to drop, that makes it possible for the rest of the country to prepare and/or implement plans to survive in the meantime. Hopefully, most in CA and everywhere else, have already made those preparations. All that's left to do now is pray, not because CA's socialist government has caused any of this, but because God told us it was coming and we should've been preparing all along anyway.
