I'm pretty Conservative [This is a ludicrous understatement]. For the record, I Loved...LOVED!!...Ronald Reagan! I don't care what anybody says, or who shoves what political bullshit at me, I Loved the guy, I miss him like nuts and I think it'll be a long, Long time before we're blessed with his kind again.

Having said that, I think we may have a really good reflection of Reagan in Fred Thompson! He's an easy communicator, seems to mean what he says and say what he means, and I get the feeling there's more than a little iron in that will. I'm hopeful that it's not just his acting skills we're witnessing and that what we're seeing is what we'd be getting. Time will tell. In the meantime, ya gotta hang your hat on someone, so . . . I'm with Fred!

How anyone can even consider themselves in any way Patriotic and still cast a vote for any of those Marxist/Socialist/Communist Bastids that are running, even the RINO's, is beyond my comprehension.

Ishi, may I point out a problem that we have in this country (IMHO) which may be one of the root-causes of problems, and which seems to be being perpetuated by well-meaning people with the encouragement of the Liberal side of the aisle: We do not live in a "Democracy". A Democracy (it's been said many times before) is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch. We live in a Republic . . . that's the way it was designed and that's the way it should be, and the differences, which are important, are explained better that I ever could, here:
