Of course I have! I've seen "Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood" like 27 times......What did you think I would do after that?

This was supposed to be light hearted.
I did shoot gangsta once as a joking demonstration of what not to do, accompanied with the phrase;"You gotta push da bullet out da gun!"
I made my point. We all had a good laugh. Then it was right back to tactics and training.

never have. but thought about it. I guess the only way it could be of use shooting that way would be if it was at close range and you had multiple targets so you could use the recoil to get you to the next target quicker.
You can have my freedom as soon as I'm done with it!!!
I too have used a different angle, rather than straight up, but canted 90 degrees is not something I have done. I can see the reasoning others have used... I understand the need to shoot from angled holds, I used to have to do that while wearing a pro mask (chemical mask) and for room clearing, but 45 degrees was usually enuff.
You've gotta do a websearch on the results of that. Some city council got into an outrage that anybody would make sights to facilitate gansta' shootin' and was all set to pass a resolution or begin a lawsuit until somebody with some sense (yes, by definition I assume until demonstrated otherwise that anybody holding office has none) explained it to them. Hilarious!

People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.--River Tam
I tried it at the range, I'll stick with my sights.
