Look at our history. They have tried to ban things in the past. If there is a need it will done. Crime drives the engine for weapons. I do not see any improvement in the crime situation regardless of what political party is in office.

That does not mean, however, that a candidate's position on gun rights isn't important. Wherever you go, approximately 5-8% of adults, at most, will have concealed carry permits, meaning that the vast majority of the time, if there is a mass shooting or crime spree, there won't be a CCW permit holder around to deter it. That does not mean, however, that you deny CCW for those who want it.
