I've been guilty of this...

I haven't actually polished every round, but I have wiped them all down with a soft cloth to make sure there was no foreign debris that might cause a feed jam. And as of yet, I've rapid-fired my XD-40 and emptied probably 8-10 12-shot mags without so much as a hiccup.
