A very good laugh. This line really got me:

Hi-Points, Lorcins, Jennings, & SW3's? Must be a big corporation if they can afford those kinds of weapons.

In order to rally people, governments need enemies. They want us to be afraid, to hate, so we will rally behind them. And if they don't have a real enemy, they'll invent one in order to mobilize us.
I read this a couple of years ago now. It's funny to read it again. Unfortunately we have some of these types on this site...who make up stories of getting shot to gain sympathy and credibility.

Getting Shot I find the idea of getting shot so bad that I find it hard to believe anyone would say they have been just to gain attention.
I LOVE the last story about the armed assault to hi-jack the mortal combat game unit.
