    From Wikipedia "WikiAnswers.com"

Q: How many police officers are employed in the United states?
In: The Ohio State University, Police and Law Enforcement [Edit categories]
    [Edit]

A: There are as of 2006, 683,396 full time state, city, university and college, metropolitan and non-metropolitan county, and other law enforcement officers in the United States. There are approx. 120,000 full time law enforcement personnel working for the federal government adding up to a total number of 800,000 law enforcement personnel in the U.S.

    Hope this helps.

Well, there are approx. 80 MILLION gun owners in the U.S., which makes us outnumber the cops 10 to 1. You can go from there on your estimates. How many of those 80M are carrying concealed? How many ADs in ther civilian sector? How many ADs in the professional sector?

Well done BretJ. Once you're comfortable making comments without factual back-up, you can move on to "re-writing history," another liberal media classic.

Bretj, don't understand why you are concerned, as fuhr52 said, liberals don't care about facts. It's how they FEEL it should be.

You had your chance, gave it your best shot, now move on. You will not give a liberal any warm and fuzzies with pro-gun facts.
