My understanding in Florida would be
    1) Enforceable entry.. (which this was not)
    2) Commission of a felony. (Unless she has some High dollar jewelery (probably not in a jewelry box on her nightstand!) then this would not be a felony..

I think she would have been in the wrong, and she would have trouble standing on the Castle law/stand your ground laws in Florida..
    IMHO

Not defending the Handyman, but I think someone should be looking into her owning a weapon. Sounds like she was ready to shoot, no matter what the issue was. Guy goes to his truck and walks back in the room and she has a gun pointed at him........ready to shoot (from what I read)??!! Plus, she tells the cops this?! She's lucky she didn't end up in jail. Glad no one got hurt.
(All the above are MY opinions/suggestions ONLY....AND, I like to bust ball's, it's called having a sense of humor. In other words, no intent to offend anyone, so get over it)
