 Add one more to the ranks!! One of my best friends called me yesterday and told me he FINALLY received his Concealed Weapons Permit. He lost track but it was over 120 days for his Florida resident permit. Now I'm trying to get him to check out the website. But none the less one more armed Floridian for the BGs to worry about.

| Fantastic. Can I give your friend company on your thread? I just found out tonight that my sister has just purchased her first shootin iron ever. She has never ever liked guns at all, huge shock to me!!  |

| congrats to your friend. my sister is looking to take her class at the moment which is great because her husband has hated guns his whole life... now he thinks it's a good idea to have at least one. glad to see change that matters:)

| A co-worker of mine has a friend that has never liked guns... she was robbed at gunpoint a couple of months back. Since then she has purchased a firearm, a Walther PPK/S. She has also received training and acquired her CC permit. Unfortunately it took having a gun stuck in her face to change her mind about firearm ownership and CCW.
