 Firearm Commercial Don't know why it surprised me, but I just saw a commercial for Henry Repeating Arms on Comedy Central. I don't ever recall seeing an ad on TV promoting firearm brands. It made me smile. . . Steve Last edited by srshadwi; 10-18-2009 at 06:45 PM. Reason: Update  |

| A good friend of mine, and retired LEO saw the ad from Henry several months ago. We tuned into Comedy Central and sure enough, the ad was shown. He said he has NEVER seen an ad for a gun company on TV before. While he's seen "outdoors and sportsmans utility" type ads, he can't recall an actual GUN advertised. I found the ad quite tasteful and tactful. I've handled a new Henry rifle, recently purchased by a friend of mine. I must say that the lever action was smooth as silk, and easier to work than any other lever action I've come across. Sign of the times I guess. |

| I saw it also, a great ad about buying American. I believe it was on DIY network, as I seldome watch Comedy Central. |
