I'm glad I found this forum, I hope it really takes off. Georgia has some crazy restriction on its license, but overall we have a pretty good thing. Open carry is allowed. Suggest you take a look at georgiacarry.org. They have done a lot of excellent work in support of Georgia gun owners, including support of positive legislation, legal challenges in support of following Georgia firearm laws by probate judges, law enforcement, municipalities, etc. They are growing at a near exponential rate in membership and I can certainly see why. GCO has excellent officers, capable legal counsel and good ideas. Please visit the site as soon as you find time.
