OK...it takes me a while, being of the Elderly persuasion and all, but I finally figured it out so I joined. By way of credibility, the Lovely Bride and I each own Glock 27's, hers with a LaserMax installed. Both have +1 magazine extenders as well.

I got sold on the Glock when I was invited to shoot a friend's '27 and see why he couldn't seem to hit with it. After drilling one large, raggedy hole in a piece of paper 25 yards away, I decided I should have one. Never did find an explanation for the friend.

I can't say the Glock is my #1 favorite of my tiny collection, having cut my pistol-shootin' teeth on the 1911, and the Lovely Bride and I also have His 'n' Her Kimbers. Mine's a Pro CDP II . . . hers is an Ultra CDP II, with a trigger like snapping a wooden match! Interestingly, I have a Galco "Concealable" holster for the Glock, and the Ultra fits it like a glove! (Reminds me of an old joke!)

But I like the Glock a lot, and when the hairs tickle and I feel the need for 11 instead of only 9, the Glock is the choice.

All for now...

Sounds like you got my gun collection .Same Kimbers only hers is not a 2. Good guns. Also 23-27-and 19 all neat and not 1000 dollors. Have you or do you know of any body that have had a slide break the slidestop while under recoil. Gun smith popo glocks for this today and I called his bluf. He says he has seen them fail and he will not own one.

They may not be much to look at, but they certainly perform as advertised. If you need any more proof, check with the police departments in your area. Chances are they are carring Glocks.
A buddy of mine with Phoenix P.D. said the exact same thing !

Even with the extreme dust conditions it has ALWAYS has been flawless

Thanks for starting the group lukem

I just joined the Glock owners' club last month (the day after Memorial Day, to be precise). I threw my previous carry weapon (a Hi Point C-9) in the bottom of the trunk in my closet and haven't even looked at it since. I also carry the Glock (a G22) at work; I am a security officer and since acquiring the Glock, have purchased a Serpa level III holster for it.

Hello all,

california Glock 23c owner. Held out for a long time because of the boxy sight picture. Finally switched a few years ago from my baby, (S&W .357 wheel gun). Now that I'm used to it, I'm real happy. Quite accurate and never refused to go bang. Still love my revolver.

I would think we just need to send an original receipt showing we bought at least 1 Glock.
