Default Glock 33

I have purchased a Glock 33, and am awaiting its arrival. Will I like it for CC? Anyone have any experience with it as an ankle gun? If so, which holster do you recommend? I'm 5" 10' and 213 pounds. Thanks.

I carry a G23 and 2 G27 pistols where ever legal (and practical). I like the size of the G27 for deep concealment. I'm 5'7" and 180 or so. :-)

My only beef with the G33 is the cost of the ammo.

Do you plan on putting any accessories on your new gun?

I carry a G19 every day, I have tryed all kinds of Holsters and I have found that ankel carry is not the way to go with a Glock, I have found that IWB is better, Desantas has a Kydex IWB called the Scorpen that is not only functional its confortable too,,,,,,,,,,,,,, My son has went to the scforpen, and did away with his ankel rig, for his G27 back up, he is a LEO................... www.DesantisHolsterandleather.com

Not trying to rain on any parade, but ankle carry is something I am always concerned about... I don't know about all of the rigs, but my LEO buds complain that some of them don't retain the pistol when in pusuit. I carry a small velcro closure holster under arm attached to my IBA when I'm doing road duty. I can always rip the damn buttons open to get to it if I have to, and don't have to take an awkward position to get to it.

Again, there are propably many ankle rigs that are good, just haven't heard from any LEOs that suggest to use them.

I have a Fobus ankle holster for my G27. It works great, never had a problem retaining the firearm. Been on foot pursuits, did some climbing, evenended up in the water once. The holster held the G27 in place.
