| I'm looking at using "Glaser brand Pow'R-Ball" ammo for the Glock 23; for defensive ammo. I was also looking at the Glaser "Safety Slug" ammo (blue & silver), but from what i've already read about it, it'll sometimes even bounce off of a BG..! So if anyone could give me some insight into the reliability or otherwise...of the Powe'R-Ball ammo, it sure would be appreciated. I'm not too fond of hollow points, due to possible feed problems...hence the appreciation for the design of the nose of the particular ammo i'm inquiring about. Thank you very much. Nick603 |

| I like Speer Gold Dot ammo. In my experience, Glaser ammo is over priced and ineffective. You can'tgo wrong with any quality brand name hollow point ammo. BTW, this is the first time I noticed one of your posts. Welcome from PRHI! gf

| I've had a few GLOCK 23s and others; currently carry GLOCK 30. I ALWAYS use HP ammo and have NEVER had feeding problems, or ANY problems, with any GLOCKS over the years and through thousands of rounds fired. Your GLOCK 23 will feed just about any type of HP ammo - I wouldn't concern myself with this point.

| I use HP for carry, FMJ for practice, straight out of the factory box stuff. |
