Congratulations on your new purchase. I would recommend putting a few boxes of ammo through the gun, then practice, practice and practice. If you have adjustible sights, it may help the windage problem, as for the elevation, might be your sight alignment. '

Welcome to USA Carry, and happy shooting!

Hello GF

I have the same problem. Can't hit the broad side of the barn with my new model 22 .40S&W . I have read via the USCCA that when you have a long trigger pull, it's best to pull not with the pad of your finger but with the joint of the finger on the trigger. With light, quick triggers we use the pad. My 22 is anything but light and quick. But it is predictable. Take up the slack and rock n roll! -upanchor

I use the same general part of my finger to "squeeze" the trigger regardless of what firearm I'm using. The area about half way between the tip and first joint (as you described as "the pad") works best. Glock pistols are unique in that the trigger is the same regardless of what pistol you're shooting (with the exception of the different trigger weight adjustments). There is a distinctive "reset" point. Practice using the "reset point" for follow-up shots. The "trigger reset" technique makes a big difference in accuracy.

Happy shooting!

Thanks for the information, guys. I did get a chance to go out and shoot a few more rounds this week. Just the excitement of having a new gun must have clouded my aim. I still am hitting a little left of where I want to be but all 15 rounds were in the 4" circle this time at 20 yards. I love not having to reload the mag after 7 rounds like my 45 acp 1911A1. This Glock is a lot more accurate than my 45 ever was. Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving.

Hey all Great Site! My GL-22 looks just like Bruce's GL-19... I am planning to buy myself a GL-27 with mag extension for Christmas.

Nice holster! What brand is it? Is there one available for the Glock 22?

Love my G26. I've added the PG-26XL to my Mags to provide a more comfortable grip. Have a Blackhawk Check Six Holster for it.
