Default Round count

How many rounds have you sent down the pipe of your combat tupperware? I've had my G19 for a year and a half and I'm only up to 2500. But I can honestly say no FTFs, stovepipes, nothing. I know all Glock owners say that, and I can believe 99% of the time it's true.

Wow, 2500 in a year and a half? I've had mine since the day after Memorial Day and I don't know the exact number, but it's less than 500. At the rate I'm going, Barack Obama will be campaigning for his second term by the time I hit 2500.

I go to the range two or three times a month. If you do the math, that's not really that many rounds per month. If it was the only gun I took to the range the count would be WAY higher.

crossed 15k earlier i nthe summer.

G26. Carry gun, IDPA gun, currently my only centerfire auto. My ammo consmption has dropped significantly as ammo prices have climbed, but I had bought a ton (almost literaly) of WWB back at $66/500 quite a while ago in anticipation of prices increasing and have reloaded almost 7k of 9mm this year alone.

I have replaced stiker and recoil springs, kept it lubed according to the AGI videos (which give same recommendations basically as the manual) and kept it clean.

I keep thinking about replacing the barrel, but it is not shot out and it is many times more accurate tha I am, os that probably would not be money well spent.

I bought an additional factory recoil spring/guide for my range bag, but I am running the Wolff springs and guide in my gun now. At least with the G26, when you buy the recoil springs, you also get a striker spring included.

My local armorer suggested springs every 5k rounds.

My Glock 30 is still very new and I've only sent 100 rounds down the pipe. :)

How many rounds can be sent down the pipe of the typical Glock in its lifetime?

I have a G-22 that I purchased in July 2001 that has a documented 78,000 (yes thousand) rounds. It has been used in IDPA,GSSF,and TSA matches as well as numerous training classes. The only parts I have replaced has been the guide rod spring assembly and I have added night sights and a 3.5# connector.I began reloading for centerfire hand guns in 1978 and have filled four notebooks of reloading data on all the ammo I have loaded.I guess I might be a little anal retentive.
