Need help y'all...I have a simple Oly, with fixed handguard, and like many of you, all those years of good livin' courtesy of Uncle Sam, are catching up with me, eyes first. Any recommendations on scopes that will fit the screw on rail at the top of the carrying handle? Would anyone recommend those Barska's that seem to be on sale? Am interested in plinking only, 100 yards is max at my range. Thanks in advance!
Hello all, I am new to the web page and am looking for some information. I am retired from law enforcement in Maryland and I have a Colt AR-15 9mm version with the collapsible stop, flash suppressor...etc. Its been fired just a handful of times during qualifications....curious to how much this is worth... bought back in the early 90's with (2) 20 round mags and (2) 32 round mags. Also...can anyone offer some affordable ideas in to putting a scope on this thing....how difficult it it and what will I need to buy ? Thanks for the help !!! Do they make this version anymore ?
Post election....try and find any AR in the Tidewater area....good luck! Gun shops are barren...really noticed it at Camp Elmore MCX...usually stock 4-5 EBR, none on the shelf, clerk told me today they've been out for some time now. Prices at the shows for any EBR available are what the market will bear. Paid $170 for a can of 500 .223 rounds from Georgia Arms in early October, the other weekend, only one can remained and it was $199....
Just joined this forum and thought I'd say howdy. Had a few questions but I'm sure they'll be answered in the fullness of time if I pay attention. Mine's a Bushmaster, maybe 100 rounds through it so far. Curious as to whether I can plop an upper of a different caliber (.308?) on top for variety and -- if so -- what else I'd need. Hello all....I just joined this forum. Have been a AR-15 owner since 1995. I was lucky I made my purchase before the "offending attachments" went into effect. I've a Bushmaster, XM15 E2S.....love it!!!!
I'm also new to AR's. I just got my RRA LAR-15 Carbine. Right now it's still stock, but soon, I'll be adding a YHM Free float, Phantom flash hider, 4 rail gas block, and either a 3-9x50 scope or an EOTech 511. I'll post the pic up soon.

have joined this forum a while back and since i'm new to computors am having a problem uploading pics. of my m-4, it is a bushmaster,16in. bbl. w/pistol grip forarm,tac.light&laser,harris bi-pod,3-rail sight mount and 3x9x50 simmons scope. you can see it on my page. a whole lot like the one i carried while in the army 13yrs.
