Got my Glock 23 40 SW. I searched for the gun that best fit my purpose (CCW). I am active duty Navy. I cannot and will not bring my weapon on base. However, if I travel or go out I will pack the Heat! The guns I considered were the Glock 27, Springfield XD 45, and the XD subcompact 40. However, with the slim profile, practicality and ease of concealment, I chose the Glock 23. I am going to my CCW course tomorrow and look forward to be a Card Carrying Glock Member of Society.
