I think there should be a group for people to talk about what type of gun they should buy, especially as a first weapon. Those with any experience in choosing a new weapon can help others in deciding which one is best for them.

I currently am in the prowl for a 1911 to buy, most likely custom. I've been eyeballing the Sig Sauer Revolution GSR STX. Beautiful gun. but i wanted to know if anyone owns a GSR and con give me some advice on getting one.

I agree - I would appreciate other people's opnions about which type of gun, brands, prices, experience, etc

It seems as if I am in the same boat. I just received my Concealed and am currently looking to buy. At first I will be practicing and then when my competency increases I may look for groups that do tactical firings and competitions. I qualified in the military with the basics like the M-16, 45, and M-60 (showing my age here) and have shot competition Trap & Skeet so firearms are not new to me.
I want something accurate, easy to handle, easy to load, concealable, and durable. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks!!!!!

I WAS going to add to my current collection but with the shortage of ammo. I have decided to put it on hold for the time being. I can't find ammo. for my current backup or target guns as it is right now.
