Well what other group would ya'll have me join? I like Ruger firearms,sent the company a few nasty letters when they changed my beloved M 77 rifle,and ended up buying one with the acursed 3 speed safety for my daughter some years later. Owned a Mini 14,a few 10/22's, bought a M77 Hawkeye for the wife,so what can I say? I guess I really am a Ruger fan. OH yeah,its a P 95. And yes when the trigger is pulled it goes bang. I like hammers on my pistols,and I dont like long trigger pulls ( for you glock people out there) oh yeah ,,,forgot to mention, I can shoot minute of people with the P 95,,not to mention anything else that needs killing. And dont start with the rifle stuff,,,,I've been shooting and reloading for about 31 years,,so I like USACARRY,,figured I'd say hi to ya'll.
Cathy how long did it take you to get that high score in space invaders? I've been playing for 2 weeks ,,,, JUST dont have the patience I guess .

That tale sounds like your lifelong penchant for buying and using Ruger firearms certainly qualifies you as a "RugerFan"!

I love mine and the reliability issue is one I don't here very often.The major producers of repeating arms since 1900 really have their craft down to a fine science. Hopefully the trouble you had will NEVER haunt you again.

I spent all afternoon in the side yard with my daughter of 17 popping off .22 rounds in my Mark I 5 inch bull in stainless. She tried her best over the 500 rounds we burned through and even though I have been shooting for 40 years she gave me a lesson a few times!

Her eyes are young and mine with my cheaters seem to not be drilled in at 50 feet. She has been shooting since she turned 10 and after 1 long year of .177 brass balls I let her graduate!

Her love for target shooting is admirable and among her peers she is the ONLY shooter.

Gives me pride and her confidence and we both enjoy a very healthy joy and love for shooting. Knowing she can handle a Blackhawk down with keen aim and adult demeanor makes her well rounded as a shooter as well. She breaks down and cleans after each of our ammo burns as she calls them. It makes her feel more a part of the gun she says.

.64 keep your love affair with Ruger Firearms going! These great guns are real fine workhorses for as many years as I can recall and I only see their future getting brighter year after year!

Question of the month?
I have a Ruger redhawk 44Mag I bought 8 years ago, it has a 5 .5 barrel on it but ever since I bought it it has a darn hex Screww that keeps working loose, it is the one that is right inder the Cylinder release button, I have bought some Blue Lock tight will this keep this Hex in or screw up the gun? I know I will only need a dab of it but..... or am I better of taking it to a Gun smith and having them fix it?

I own a Ruger P89. Shoots like a dream, however I carry my XD-40 sc CCW. I've pumped several hundreds of rounds through her with out a single FTF or stove pipe. Very reliable side arm, just a little too big for concealed carry for me. It is about time for a new slide for the old gal or getting the slide on it refinished. Anyone know of a good place to look?
