I just picked up my XDm 40 at my dealer. I love it! Fits my hand perfectly. Like you Debray, my first Springfield was a 45-70 Trap Door which I just sold to my dealer to hang on his wall. Now I can look at it every time I visit.
Congratulations on the XDm. I have the 9mm version. I love the gun, I took my wife to the range last week and let her run a few rounds through it. Now she wants one too.

Welcome Mike, Good deal on the CHL. I'm in Texas and it took 19 weeks to get by license. Hope yours goes through sooner. It's been difficult to get ammo here, but things have gotten better in the last couple of months. Our local Academy Sports had 9mm FMJ on sale a couple of wees ago and I bought 500 rounds. If I can get some good weather I really want to get out to the range.
Hello, I own a XDM 40 and a XD 45ACP. I love these guns, and I love shooting them. They are well made, feel great in my hand and shoot great. I guess that's why I own two of them. I thinking seriously about selling my Ruger 9 and getting a XD 9. That's how much I like my XD's.
hi everybody, new here and just sayin hi to everybody. have a xd.40 service model 4". had her almost a year, put about 1500 rounds threw her and she just beggs for more. she is my everyday carry peice as well. here in michigan i got my cpl in about 3 weeks after i applied.
Just a sign out front on the door or window saying "caution XD security Controlled" should be all that is needed to creeps who can read a real eye-opener but those who can't or don't care will when they feel the effects this security system offers. Love my .45
