I buy locally at Georgia Arms their prices are pretty fair I think.
Anybody buy ammo by the can? I've been looking around and I can't find any good prices (at least not to me). I would think buying a 1000rd can would shave off a descent amount. The prices I've been seeing are only a couple bucks shy of buying 20 boxes at wally world

Prolly depends on calibre too i would think.
I've been buying my ammo mail order (Internet now) for over 20 years.
These last few years, the prices have really gotten ridiculous.
For a while it was cheaper to get handgun ammo at Walmart if you could find it.
Now, even their prices have skyrocketed.
Not even the milsurp is much of a deal if you can find them.
Ammo but the can/case doesn't seem to save that much especially after shipping.
However, they are a heck of a lot cheaper than buying from gun shops.
Seems like a lot of imports are being held up and US MilSurp being destroyed instead of selling to the public.
Try Cheaper than Dirt or The Sportsman guide, always good prices.

There are places that handle pallets of ammunition, but you will need at least 10 people to go in with you as it is very expensive
