45 acp SD ammo: What do you carry?

I just bought a Baby Desert Eagle .45, and I was wondering what you guys carry as far as SD ammo. I also have a Baby Eagle 9mm, and it seems to like the 147gr Remington Golden Sabres, but I've heard the Golden Sabres aren't that good in the .45 version. Any input would be appreciated. Let me rephrase....any relevant, informative input would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I carry speer gold dot in my 45, and winchester ranger T in my 9mm. Both are LE ammo. If it is good enough for the police department, it's good enough for me.

In .45ACP (my carry gun is a HK USP45), I carry the Hornady 230 gr XTP +P JHP.

It is a very accurate bullet that offers controlled expansion to ~1.5x caliber with 99+% weight retention.

I would go with the Federal LE Tactical HST 230 grain +p. Bullet expands quite large and penetrates extremely well. Check it out here.

I use whatever functions 100% of the time and shoots the straightest.

The 3 .45's I own right now all like different ammunition (230gr HydraShocks, 200gr +P+ Cor Bon and 230 Gold Dots).
