Nice piece.
Kimber SS Ultra Raptor II Bought a new Kimber stainless steel Ultra Raptor II last month. Took it to the range and ran about 200 rounds of 230gr Corbon and Winchester White Box FMJ's though it. No mechanical problems. Shoots like a dream. At 7-10 yards I ate the center out of the x-ring and head of the target. Will have to do more range time before I start using it as my primary CCW.

From the title I thought Kimber was honoring the German Secret Police. Then I read your post and realized it stood for stainless steel.

The Kimber Ultra series rock! You should love that thing. I know I would never part with mine! Seven yards, tight three inch group 29 rounds.
Now that is just sexy!! Enjoy it.
I'll second how nice Kimber's ultra series is. I carry a Ultra CDP II and never had a single issue with it. It's even ran a few 500 round tactical shooting classes.
