I picked up a used P11 at Cabelas for $100. It had some surface rust and pitting on the exterior of the slide, along with some light rust on the underside of the slide and inside the barrel and feed ramp. A little rust/blue remover and a lot of sanding and polishing and it turned out pretty good looking.
A good thorough cleaning and it's good as new. I've put about 300 rounds through it so far with no problems whatsoever. I had never intended to buy a Keltec because of the mixed reviews I've read. Granted, they have a great reputation for customer service, but I don't want to have to send it away for repair to begin with. Well, for $100 I couldn't resist. Now I'm glad I bought it and would not hesitate to buy another one.
One of these days, I'll get a picture of it uploaded.
The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first. - Thomas Jefferson
