Reason, to get a higher paying job. Problem, GF of 11 years with our two kids. She the GF does not like guns. Allows me to get said gun for work and range, but will not let me CC.
How can I get her to let me CC to protect me and my family when we go out or whatever? She thinks because she and I have lived almost 40 years with nothing going on that going to Wal-Mart is safe. I tried telling her you can become a victim anywhere, she thinks I'm nuts.

Guess she thinks you are still the big strong "kick ass" take on "all comers"guy from 20 years ago. Bet if someone was attacking one of her kids she would think nothing of splattering his brains with a baseball bat. That must be way different then stopping the attack with one well placed shot!

She couldn't be pretty enough or rich enough for her to "allow" me to get, have or carry any gun I wanted to! Grow a pair and make it clear WHO is in charge, that YOU are the "man of the house"....unless you aren't!
