For my .02 worth, for CCW SD, keep it simple and keep it slick. No lasers, no rail flashlights and no gimmicks. I tried them all and they just got in the way and confused me when I really didn't need to be confused.
I even extended it to my HD shotgun. After many "Tacticools" I am back to a 18 1/2" Mossy 500A with a Trijicon bead and a regular stock.
