Nice, congrats on the new gun. Did you get a chance to shoot it yet?

I just picked up my Bodyguard .380 and it is rding comfortably in it's new home....my right front pocket. I ordered it back in December and I got the call from my gun shop this week, that it was in.
Hey man, Glad you just posted, I was actually looking at one of those just yesterday. How do you like it so far. Is it confortable? Do you feel confortable with the .380 cal (damage infliction wise)? Best advise I can get is from someone who owns one....
I bought one for backpacking. Sure, a bigger canon would have better stopping power, but I have to consider size and weight. I can't afford to allocate 10% of my base weight to a firearm.
Hello, I got mine last month, for those days I want somthing smaller than my Sig to carry. I've only put a little over 200 rds threw her, and no malfunctions so far, except needing to double strike a few rds that I blame on the ammo. There is a forum for the bodyguards that I am a member of also. The early ones had some problems, but so far the only problem I've had was the laser buttons being hard to push, I just e-mailed S/W and they mailed me new updated buttons for free. I'm looking into getting some sight paint to make my sights easier to see.
I was looking at getting one of these for a BUG but I have seen many people complain about the slide release being way to loose and snapping at peoples fingers. Is the safety really stiff or easy to operate?
I realy like mine. My slide stop lever hasn't ever bit me, I havn't heard that one before. The safety was realy stiff, and I just oiled it and worked it on/off, and it losened up. You hear a click going on/off, and you won't switch it by accadent, but I can easily flip it off with my thumb. If your around Ark, I have my own range, bring your own ammo, (just not the dirty cheap stuff) and you could try a clip or 2, and see how you like it.
Thanks for the reply Steve, Think I'll have to stop at a store and get a feel for one. My g/f wants on for carry purposes and she likes the manual safeties so this may be a good fit for her as well.
Did I miss something? The SW Bodyguard comes in 2 models. Which one are we talking about?
I would like to know if the laser on the auto is ambi or favors right handers.
