While I have shoot many 1911's by many manufacturers, of the three you mentioned the Para GI shot excellent right out of the box. I sold it soon after I bought it, but while I did have it, I thought it was a fine pistol. Very accurate and inexpensive made with quality parts.

I saw that the other day and it looks awesome. I might just hold out and get one of those instead! When has Ruger ever made a bad gun? On the plus side, it's 100% American. Very excited!

I still believe you cant go wrong with a Springfield Armory 1911 A1. But I have not fired anything else.
