I've got a P.13 and LOVE it. I'm a lefty, so I ordered the factory ambi safety and beavertail for it and had my local smith put them in. I ordered the parts on a Monday (via telephone) and they were in my hand by the weekend. True, if you are small handed, it ain't the gun for you but if you can control it, it's the way to go in a 1911 platform. It's been reliable and I like the compactness of the Commander length barrel and slightly shorter than normal grip frame. Besides, it holds 14 shots of .45 so what's not to like about it?
