Ruger SR9

Moving from revolver to semi. Considering the Ruger SR9 for these reasons:
American Made- Cost- Fairly slim width(small hands)- Relatively safe firearm-9mm cost to shoot- can use CC.
Can anyone give me the pros and cons of this weapon or suggestions for another that can fit within these parameters?

I have a Ruger SR9C and love it,compact with 10 round magazine or 17 rounds with the larger magazine. Gun shoots straight and has never jammed.

Ditto. Went from a Springfield 1911 to an SR9C, and am so glad I did. Concealed Carry with 10 round magazine, or open carry with the 17 rounds, it fits all m needs.
