Only 2 shots. The 410 might hit but a bullet out of a 2inch barrel under stress..........??
I am contemplating getting a derringer from bond arms and I was wondering what the opinions of them are for CCW. I would be getting the .45lc/410 barrels and the .40 for CCW use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I currently carry a G22/G27 and S&W60. I believe that it would be nice in the summer to have a small CCW gun with reasonable stopping power.

No fun to shoot, stay with the S&W, you won't regret it.

I have a Bond 45/410 that I carry in the house loaded with 410 only. It is not as small as you may think, about the same size as a Beretta 3032, a bit "chunky" and the range is not to effective beyond 15 feet. They don't call them "Belly Guns" for nothing. Outside, and unfortunatly only out of the Kingdom of NJ, I carry a XD45 with a Mini Cougar 8000 as a BUG.
You know and I know why you are interested in buying this firearm and it has very little, if anything, to do with self defense. I would'nt mind having one-- just because-- but I will still carry my 380 for smallish/realtime defense purposes.
Try the Ruger LCP, small, easy to conceal, packs a punch.
I have one & I occasionally use it as a BUG. True it is a cool little piece, & when I take it to the range, everybody wants to shoot it.
Mine has 4 barrels, 45lc/410, 9mm, 45ACP, 22MAG.
Pretty accurate @ 15'or so.
I have a holster that keeps the firearm in the ready position, & I wear it on my left side when I'm driving. Seat belt not in the way.
Thanks for the unbiased opinions now I don't think I will get one. At the price of $400 or so I will get a 357 snub instead
