    Isn't that difficult to conceal?

So, you don't care about complying with Florida law?

Well, actually, I guess it would be legal to openly carry it in Florida, just illegal to conceal without a permit.... so.... my mistake. That's actually pretty good deal in Florida...

    Rustic,
Interesting choice, prefer the grip on a Rodgers and Spencer of that era myself. Would not be my choice for daily or concealed carry. Too much length for comfort while driving.

    Take care and be safe

I carry an 1851 Navy when I go to special events. I find it is very comfortable while driving, so long as it is carried on the left side when driving, or the right side when a passenger. Of course, that only applies to open carry, where the barrel simply rides beside the seat.

I normally carry mine on the left side, cross draw, because an officer's primary weapon would be their sword on their strong side. I carry my 1851 Navy in a holster that I purchased in Iraq, originally for an M9, but it fits the Navy revolver almost perfectly!

Nope. Does the LAW protect me from the bad guys? No, the law will show up and put me in a body bag. So why should I comply with something that's designed to protect the bad guys?
Another great addition to the forum. Do you have any more great advice for people here? The great state of Florida it's lucky to have you. Just not as lucky as the other 49.

Well if you ever carry in Nebraska, conceal carry means conceal carry. Even though Nebraska is open carry a lot of city's some how over ride the state. Somehow.

You know...I agree with your right to carry, I just do not agree with the way you said it. I don't know why? I hope you are THE Leo himself with very strong connection or we might not see you here in this forum very long....just my opinion. Here we actually admit to being armed to protect ourselves and our family and/or in some occasion, help a stranger in need, but for the most of us, we are law-abiding citizens. I do not believe my friends over here had even said such a callous statement as you did.
