Default Issue with Judge Public Defender

I have shot my Judge "Public Defender" twice and have noticed the the cylinder doesn't lock and I have to rotate it myself to lock it. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I'm thinking of buying one so I'm interested in the feedback you get.

It seems best suited for up close and personal shooting, at least if using pellets of any kind.

I have seen my local firearm store guy telling people they really need to think about buying one of them Judge shotgun/Pistols. Saw Lady buy one to take to her barn, just why I do not know. Any how seems a lot of people think they are the hot item, myself I don't think one is in my future anytime soon. I had a .45 Long colt years ago and still have lead molds and dies for one, but it's not my cup of tea for shooting.
But if the Judge is calling your name, by all means don't take my thoughts about them to stop you from spending your cash on one. Oh happy new year early.

    Thumbs up

I have owned my public defender polymer model for about a year now and have never had one thing go wrong. I would advise to purchase one of these if you are looking for a good home defense/car defense handgun. Or for up close small game hunting. Real up close haha. Otherwise no I have not had one bad thing happen with mine. This gun is not for everyone like rifleshooter was saying.

If you have to move the cylinder after loading, that's normal. Mine is the same way. No big deal for me.

I have the Judge, Public Defender and I have put over 1,000 .45colts and probably 800 000buck rounds through it without a problem. I carry it concealed quite a bit and feel very comfortable if my life or my families safety depended on it.
