    Default What's a used glock 19 worth?

A buddy of mine wants to sell me a 9mm glock 19 & a Kimber compact 45. How do I find out what a fair market value for these guns are? What are the variables that would increase/decrease the value?

I saw a new glock 30 priced at $620. I was initially thinking an average glock price might be in the 400 range, but a private sale would hopefully be a bit lower than that, depending on things like condition and how much it was used. It's just my opinion, but I view a used Glock kind of like a used subaru or honda. You can buy one used and old with a lot of miles, and find out that it still has a lot of life left! They are built to last a long time.

There are several G30's on the boards right now for $475/$500. G19's should be about the same. I'd buy the Kimber from him, Glocks are a dime a dozen.

    Well, not really, but close:):)

Some folks claim that Glocks are a dime a dozen...I strongly disagree.
Glocks are the AK-47's of Sidearms i.m.h.o.
They are very solid and super reliable weapons.
The Majority of Law Enforcement Agencies who carry Glock's CAN'T be wrong!
On that note, I would always prefer 'new' over 'used' for my personal defense sidearms.
You almost never know how any used weapon may have been treated or mistreated.

    I just bought a new Glock 19-g-4 for $525.00.
I did a lot of checking. I'm sure I made a great decision.
I understand the Gen-3 are around $475.00. (New)

I bought two new Glock 23s (.40) last summer, one a Gen3 and one Gen4 (wife objects to the RTF2 texture, I prefer it). I paid $470 and $520, respectively. Then I paid an extra $120 apiece to have XS Big Dot sights installed.

I imagine the 9mm version Glock 19 is roughly the same price range.

If you're military (active, res., or ret.d) you can buy new for about $100 less through their blue label program. I found a gen 4 glock 19 locally for $398 (military)
