I have both, the G26 and the G33, I found the 9mm to be a bit more accurate for me and less snappy. I've been carrying the G26 constantly now for a few years. The best carry gun is the one you get the most hits out of, with the advancement in ammo, 9mm and one shot stops are more realistic than in the past. Some ranges rent, try out a few, see what feels right for you. Defiantly put a Glock on your list!

I have a G-26, did have a G-27, and I also have a G-31C, yes ammo is a little pricey, but it is a very strong, flat shooting rd, it is the full size gun, so the recoil is super mild, but I also did shoot a 32 that belonged to a buddy, and it is still not bad, but I can see how the 33 would have some snap,

I really like the Sig P224 and 239 but don't know if I could part with 800.00+ and I am not real fond of polymer for some reason although I own one and it's an excellent firearm. I've also been eying a CZ-2075 in 40 and then convert with an aftermarket barrel but then I am at 800 again though I'll have 2 guns in one. I guess I'll have to make a trip to a local range and see if they have any compact 357 Sigs to rent. I wonder if shooting a 357 Sig compact auto with 3" barrel would be similar to a 357 mag in a lt wt snubby
I found that recoil is significantly less in the .357sig than the mag. Also in ballistic comparisons, the .357sig has quite the difference in ft/sec muzzle velocity than the mag. Still a zippy round at >1400ft/sec but the mag comes in at >1600ft/sec comparing 125gr bullet weight.

I have a G23 with the Lone Wolf conversion barrel in .357 sig as my primary carry gun. It has some snap to it but I prefer that round for concealed carry. The ballistics are amazing. Rounds can penetrate thru car doors and other solid materials. I know it's a little much but you can't take a chance with your life. You just never know.
