Exactly. When talking to the police, Grand Jury, DA or anyone else after a shooting it was never your intention to kill but only to stop or neutralize the threat.

first they would have to know you had a second weapon.

if you were searched, or voluneered the info ... such as beeing cuffed or arrested at the time, until the cops could figure out what was going on ...

then it would have to be brought to the courts attention.
but I imagine that a second weapon would actually look worse that a large caliber weapon.
