I just lost 2 screws to the handle of my RI 1911.can I get these at a hardware store or do I have to write to the manufacturer and get special screws?

Your RI should use the standard 1911 grip hardware. Check out Brownell's or Numrich's websites.

I took one of the screws to the hardware store and got another screw the same size.before I could make sure it fit I washed the jacket with both screws in the pocket. now I'm down 2 screws. I'm losing this pistol one piece at a time. I'll have to use duct tape till I can find screws that fit. if I buy grips do they come with screws? I'd hate to spend $40 on grips just for the screws but it may have to happen.
