It doesn't harm the magazine springs to leave them fully loaded. The springs will eventually wear out from the number of cycles they complete, but that's it.

Just curious, does it ruin the springs in the magazines if you keep it loaded for a long period of time. In my Glock 23, which I carry, I keep the magazine fully loaded all the time. Will that weaken or ruin the loaded spring?
