Default New Pistol

Up until today I have only owned revolvers. I am now the proud owner of my first pistol. I opted for the Springfield XD (m) 9 mm so both my girlfriend and I could enjoy shooting it. I also intend for it to be my carry piece once I move out of the oppressive state of Illinois.

I will post some pics once the 72 hour waiting period is over.

My wife has the 9 and I have the 40. They are great pistols. I used to have the regular XD-40, but I sold it to buy the XD(M). It was a great pistol as well.

Sure thing, but it will have to wait until Friday since I have to wait until then to pick it up. Illinois requires a 72 hour wait after purchase.

Congrats on your new XD9, Steve - and get the heck outta ILL and come on down to AZ!

Buy a gun here, walk out with it immediately on your hip! I think it's high time Americans reclaim Illinois and Wisconsin for the people...

The XDM9 is a great gun. My wife and I love shooting it along with our other guns.

Haven't been able to post pictures. Every time I try the upload fails. Files are jpeg and just over 100 Kb.

Any suggestions?

If you are using Windows XP for your operating system, you can download this Microsoft Power Toy called "Image Resizer". Once installed, just right click on the image you want to adjust and select "resize". Very easy. Here is the link;
